Why do we go to school?

Here's my theory:
We go to elementary to prepare us for Junior high.
Junior High prepares us for High school.
But after the Highest School, they go and prepare us for college.
and College allegedly prepares us for life.
I thought we were supposed to live life. Not prepare for it.

And if most of our life is preparing for life, when exactly do we start living life?
Because before you know it, you've been married and have children.
And you have to start spending your time preparing your children for life.

When I asked a teacher, here's her lame response, "You start living life when your done with schools."
I beg to differ. Because then the teacher has never lived her life. Because she's not done with schools.
